Five stages. One unbroken journey, age three to fifteen

Our Playgroup programme is the very first chapter of a child's educational journey at The Paradox Academy. Designed for children aged three to four, it is a gentle, joyful introduction to structured learning — where play is the primary language and every activity is purposeful.

Qualified early childhood educators guide each child through sensory exploration, creative expression, and guided discovery in small, intimate groups. Our youngest learners leave Playgroup confident, curious, and perfectly prepared to transition into Pre-Primary.

Our Early Years programme provides a warm, nurturing foundation for lifelong learning. Through play-based, inquiry-led pedagogy, we guide our youngest scholars in developing the language, numeracy, motor, and social competencies they need to flourish.

Mornings are anchored by routine and song; afternoons by exploration and rest. Every space is designed for small hands and bright eyes — and every educator understands that, at this age, character is being shaped just as surely as skill.

In Lower Primary, learners transition from play-centred discovery into structured academic engagement. Our educators employ a blend of activity-based learning and guided instruction to establish strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, science, and social competence.

It is here that handwriting becomes legible, that times tables become second nature, and that the first independent sentences appear in writing books that children carry home with pride.

Upper Primary deepens academic rigour and introduces learners to specialised subject disciplines. At this level, we cultivate critical thinking, independent research, collaborative problem-solving, and the exploration of individual talents.

Pupils are carefully prepared for the transition to Junior Secondary School, including the national Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) at the end of Grade 6.
