§ 01 A typical day

From assembly to the final bell.

Our school day is carefully structured to balance focused academic learning with movement, creativity, and social interaction. Every moment is intentional.

7:30 AM

Arrival & settle-in

Pupils arrive, greet their class teacher, and prepare for the day ahead. Early arrivals enjoy quiet reading time in the classroom or library.

8:00 AM

Morning assembly

A cherished tradition of shared purpose. National anthem, school prayer, announcements, and a moment of reflection that orients the whole community.

8:30 AM — 12:30 PM

Core lessons

The intellectual heart of the day. Focused academic sessions in literacy, numeracy, science, and the humanities, with short breaks woven in to keep minds fresh.

10:30 AM

Mid-morning break

Snack, fresh air, and friendship. Pupils stretch their legs and reconnect with classmates before the next block of learning.

12:30 PM

Lunch & recess

A balanced, nutritious meal in our dining hall, followed by play, conversation, and movement on the grounds.

1:30 PM — 3:30 PM

Afternoon learning

Practical sessions, creative arts, and inquiry projects. JSS learners take subject-specialist lessons; younger pupils explore through hands-on activity.

3:30 PM — 4:30 PM

Clubs & activities

Sports, music, drama, debate, eco-club, coding. Co-curricular life is integral — not an extra.

4:30 PM

Dismissal & guided study

JSS learners may stay for guided self-study with mentor support; younger pupils are released to families. The day closes with the same care it began.

§ 02 Pastoral care & wellbeing

Every child known, every child cared for.

Every child at Paradox Academy has a class teacher who knows them well and monitors their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development. We maintain an open-door policy for parents and provide regular updates through reports, parent conferences, and direct communication.

Our approach to discipline is restorative — focused on building self-regulation, empathy, and personal responsibility rather than punishment. For Junior Secondary learners, dedicated mentors and guidance counsellors provide additional support during this pivotal stage.
